What is the Trauma Conscious Yoga Method?

The Trauma Conscious Yoga Method (TCYM) integrates trauma-informed yoga with somatic experiencing to help you reclaim your body and empower your own healing and trauma resolution. Through breath work, meditation, poses and self reflection, TCYM helps address emotional regulation, disassociating, PTSD symptoms, as well as anxiety and depression. Experience with yoga is not necessary as TCYM is less about carrying out the poses and more about the feeling in your body through a pose. Once you tap into your body, you can work on releasing built up emotions, stress and tension as well as feel more present and grounded.
